Djimon Hounsou To Star As Conan The Barbarian Baddie Thulsa Doom

Variety reports that Amistad and Gladiator star Djimon Hounsou has been tapped to play the role of the villainous Thulsa Doom made famous by James Earl Jones in the classic fantasy pic, Conan The Barbarian. The film will center around the Shannen Doherty coiffed villain, Thulsa Doom and the misguided hero’s journey down the path of evil before his final showdown with Conan. Sounds interesting enough, but I’m still waiting and wishing Hounsou would suit up to play T’Challa, King of Wakanda or more commonly referred to as Marvel Comics’, The Black Panther. To me, that’s just a no brainer.
